Children that are two years old should not be given honey because it can contain a toxin that causes poisoning. The immunity of adults is capable of fighting this toxin, so it is better to be avoided it until the child turns 5-6 years.

Raw milk

Cow milk contains milk protein and children that are one year old can not digest it. Consumption is not recommended. After the first year, then you can start to feed him with raw milk.

Some types of fish

Fish is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids and proteins, so it is recommended its consume from an early age. But some types of fish, such as tuna or mackerel may contain trace amounts of mercury, which will have an impact on the nervous system of the child, so at a very young age don’t cook exactly those types of fish, instead choose healthier options.

Citrus fruit

Lemon, lime, grapefruit, and oranges are healthy fruits from the citrus family, which are characterized by large amounts of vitamin C. However, these fruits contain high acidity which can irritate the children’s gastric and cause skin rash.

Foods that cause gas

Broccoli and beans are part of foods high in dietary fiber that improves digestion but can make gases. And while in some adults it can cause discomfort, in young children it can lead to severe pain in the abdomen, so it is better to wait for some time before you introduce beans on the menu at your youngest.
